I was impressed with what the demo covered and it looked like something that would help me, so we thought of ordering, until we saw the price. We knew there was no way we could pay that kind of money at the time so it had to take a backseat. Then my mom found the scholarship program. My dad had been in the military, so we were able to get what we needed with the scholarship. I went back to your site to apply. It took me a bit to get there because when I was at the page and clicked on 'get a code' (or whatever it said) it wouldn't let me hit 'continue' after I filled in the information. So I called the number on your site and the woman that answered was extremely friendly and helpful. She directed me to a different point on the site where I could actually get through and get the scholarship. I didn't know about this program until my son came home from school with a flyer from his ROTC class. After reading about what this program is about I thought I was shocked when he was interested in SAT content study material, but I am very greatful there are programs like these that have encouraged my son to take the extra step. My son studys and gets excellent grades since he entered High School. Prior to that he was an average student. Now he is ranked 16th in his class, and averages 3.99 GPA. With his great study habits and programs like these that encourage good academic skills I am hopful my son will go to the next level as a young adult. I can not thank you enough. I am a single mom of three and have to work overtime to even pay all of my bills. It is a shame that all scholarships to help my kids go to college are based on these tests. Two of my kids have learning disabilities and do not test well. Even though they work so hard and their GPA's are 3.8, 4.3, and 4.25 they don't get scholarships because of their low reading test scores. This is my only hope for them to be able to go to college.

As a single parent that falls slightly above the income bracket that allows waivers for my daughter to take the SAT prep classes or the SAT test itself. I was overjoyed when I found out about the sponsored eKnowledge DVDs!!!! I of course thought there was a catch but soon found out the only thing I had to pay for, was shipping. And the $17.55 in shipping was nothing compared to the price of the DVD itself and the generosity you all have provided for parents and students like my daughter and I. I have searched high and low for an affordable SAT prep class, even paid for a prep class but the classes were canceled so many times that my daughter gained nothing and was devastated. Hello- My husband is about to be deployed for his second tour of duty to Iraq. His date to be out of the military was actually this October, but he will be in over a year past that as part of this deployment. During that time I will be moving, and taking a job in Virginia as a professor at a college. While he has the opportunity to go there for free, he has to be able to get in to the school and meet the admission requirements. As he has never been to college and did not have the opportunity, this will be a great thing for him to work on while he is deployed. I first heard of this program when I was deployed in Iraq and I didn't think I would be able to order it because of the original July- AUG deadline. I was very happy to hear that this program is still going on. I plan on taking my SATS in Dec and apply for the Nursing program or the Physician assistant program through the Army. What an excellent example of showing how important education is! Sometime I believe we put so much emphasis on sports. Look at the pay scale. Professional athletes get paid hundreds of thousand of dollars to entertain! Teachers get paid so little they often have to work 2 jobs to get by.( I know this for a fact. well this program was a great asset to me because i'm in the U.S. NAVY and i'm about to go on a 6 month deployment so i had to buy a lot of stuff to make it and i didn't have enough to get these dvds i needed, you see i'm taking these tests on deployment to go to college and try to become a commissioned officer and without the aid of these more than remarkable people i probably would have gone into the test unprepared,but not now ....THANKS

This is a wonderful opportunity to a make a difference in our daughter's future. Her learning style is one in which she does much better seeing material rather than just reading it. She is a junior this year who is involved in show choir crew, volleyball, working part time and handling homework at school. While serving here in Afghanistan on my 3rd tour I will be able to sudy for my civilian eduaction now so when this tour is up I will be able to go home and attend my dreams of going to college. I just wanted to say thank you in advance for your selfless gift. My children (3 highschoolers) are looking forward to watching the DVD's when they arrive. They're a little anxious about taking their ACT and SAT's. This will be a great help. There are many individuals who forget where they've come from, and the fact that "you can't keep it, unless you give it away"!!! May God continue to bless "all" your endevours. Thank you so much for your donation!! My husband is in the Navy and our son is a rising senior at White Oak HS in Jacksonville, NC. We relocated to NC last year when our son was a junior and he was unable to fit an SAT prep course into his schedule. This year he will be taking the SAT in October and his school's prep course will not be completed until January 2007. This program is a lifesaver for us because the area private SAT prep courses can cost $1000.00 and up and would be quite a financial burden at this time. When we relocated, I was out of work for a while. I am now working full time but for significantly less money than I earned at my previous job. This is common for military spouses and their families and we feel especially blessed to know that VSG is there to support us and other military families across the country. Thank you so much. I dont think it could be any better, Im military and its hard with that, starting school and finding a new job. Being sponsored made it easier on me with my fiancial problems, and help me get my scores better for some of my scholarships.
